What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the website owner.
How we use cookies
The FGVW website uses essential cookies necessary for the website to function, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.
Essential cookies
- cookie-consent — remembers whether you have accepted or declined analytics cookies, so we don't ask you on every visit. This is stored in your browser's local storage on your device and is not sent to us or to any third party. It stays until you clear your browser data.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you choose Accept on our cookie banner, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymous statistics about how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive at the site. This helps us improve the website. If you choose Decline, Google Analytics is not loaded and none of these cookies are set. Google Analytics sets the following cookies:
- _ga — used to distinguish unique visitors. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_W5YP3P4STG — used to maintain session state. Expires after 2 years.
The information collected is transmitted to and stored by Google. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Third-party services
This website uses Google Fonts to load typefaces. Google Fonts may set cookies or log requests to their servers. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.
Our newsletter signup form is provided by MailerLite. To protect the form from spam and automated sign-ups, it uses Google reCAPTCHA, which is loaded whenever the form is shown, whether or not you have accepted analytics cookies. reCAPTCHA may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address and how you interact with the page, in order to tell humans from bots. This information is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. MailerLite may also set its own cookies; see MailerLite's Privacy Policy.
When you choose to join FGVW online, you are taken to our membership shop on Zeffy (zeffy.com). Zeffy is a separate website that may set its own cookies; we do not control these. See Zeffy's own cookie and privacy information on its website.
Your choices
You can change your analytics choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. If you decline, any Google Analytics cookies already set on your device are deleted.
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser settings. For more information on how to manage cookies in your browser, visit aboutcookies.org.
Disabling essential cookies may affect the way this website works. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect how the site works.
