2. Minutes of the Meeting Held 26th June
Agreed as a true record.
3. Matters Arising
- Gledhow Valley Woods Management Plan
The Group has e-mailed Justin Williamson with comments on the Leeds City Council Management Plan for Gledhow Valley Woods but has not yet received a response.
- Steve Clavering's Leaving Party
Joan and Mervyn Clayton, and Martin Calvert, attended Steve's leaving party with Elaine Hill on 28th May.
- Skipton Building Society's Grassroots Giving Scheme
Voting for the scheme starts on 31st July. Carol will provide details of how to vote.

5. Action Mornings
- Sunday 14 July 2013
Work on Hilda's will continue, linking up the steps from Gledhow Lane to the path constructed from the Brackenwood Drive end. Four tons of sandstone has been ordered. Please meet at the junction of Gledhow Lane and Gledhow Valley Road.

6. Audrey's Meadow
Martin Calvert has arranged meetings with two contractors and Elaine Hill on 22nd and 24th July to give specifications and estimates for the work to be done to create a meadow.
The meeting noted Audrey's death this morning at 5.30am.
7. Benches in the Woods
The Group would like to install Geoff and Ro's bench at the Ridgeway end of the woods and also re-install one of the meadow benches as it is too low.
8. New Information Boards
Two new information boards are on order from Border Signs. Information on the quality and treatment of existing signs has been passed on.
9. Lloyds Bank Volunteers 23 July 2013
Ten volunteers from Lloyds Bank Group will be spending a day working in Hilda's wood, working on the path and litter picking. Eight tons of sandstone to be ordered. Timber has already been ordered.
10. AOB
- St Matthew's "Cream Tea" Event
Adam and Carol attending St Matthew's "Cream Tea" event to sell merchandise on 13th July.
- Swan Returns
The female swan was returned to the lake on 4th July fully recuperated after the lead poisoning. The Group agreed to donate £50 to the Swan Rescue Centre Hospital at Barlby near Selby.
- Missing Logs from Meadow Edge
Martin to e-mail Elaine and Justin regarding the missing logs from the edge of the meadow.
- FGVW Marquee
The 6x6 marquee now resides in a container at Gledhow School.
- FGVW BBQ
Thank you to Paul and Hazel for hosting the annual FGVW BBQ. A lovely event.
- FGVW Christmas Cards
There was a request to discuss Christmas cards and greeting cards at the next meeting. Martin to contact Leodis website re permission to use some of their photos.
