A.G.M. Heritage Open Days Saturday/Sunday 9th-10th September 2006 (2.00-4.00pm)
The Gipton Spa Bath House on Gledhow Valley Road will again be open to the public under the supervision of FGVW members. There will also be refreshments and an FGVW stall promoting the group, selling merchandise (including greetings cards, Christmas cards, postcards, rulers, badges & photos), providing general information about the woods, etc.
Bat Walk Bat Walk Friday 8th September 2006 (7.30pm-8.30pm)
A guided Bat Walk by a senior Leeds City Council Ranger. Electronic bat detectors will be provided.
Please meet at the end of the lake, near the dam area, by 7.30pm.
A.G.M. Chapel Allerton Festival Saturday 2nd September 2006 (11.00am-4.00pm)
There will be an FGVW stall at this year's Chapel Allerton Festival promoting the group, selling merchandise (including greetings cards, Christmas cards, postcards, rulers, badges & photos), running prize games, providing general information about the woods, etc.

Activities to include general tidying, litter picking & possibly clearing/tidying around the Bath House.

FGVW will be attending the BBC Springwatch Event to promote the group, give advice to others hoping to start a Friends group, sell merchandise, etc.

Special meeting to discuss the FGVW's presence at Temple Newsam (for part of BBC's Springwatch) only.
